REDEFINING THE EMPLOYEE EMPLOYER RELATIONSHIP 🤝

EMPLOYEES HAVE MORE POWER THAN EVER

POWER HAS SHIFTED. Employees have options that give them power to choose how, when, and where they want to work.

The Great Resignation is merely an outward expression of something that scares me even more. Right now there are more employees who are burned out, stressed, and overworked than ever before and a large portion of them are preferring the unknown of unemployment to their current working environment. There are a vast majority of employees, however, who DO fear unemployment and are not going to leave their job.

That leaves them with the option to scale back their efforts at the company. They don’t do their best work. They hide their performance from their boss. And it is so easy to do in today’s work environment, where workflows aren’t visible. They underperform and over-report their efforts…and it’s easier than ever to do in a distributed world.

In this keynote we cover:

  1. The 3 types of employee power
  2. 4 facets of employee power
  3. How to collect employee data from a place of authenticity
  4. How to establish a two-way communication with employees

The most progressive companies are examining the intricacies of daily employee life, trying to understand their pain points and bottlenecks. They are discovering which hours they work best and when the kids need to be picked up from school. They are identifying patterns and eliminating noxious meetings and outdated technology . They are sitting in empathy with employees to hear all of their non-work related drama. All of this with the intent of designing a better employee experience because they know that employees are in control. They can’t afford to lose anyone. They can’t afford to burn out half of their staff. They can no longer afford to not know how employees feel.
