The biggest problem by far in the workplace is designing an experience where employees can excel both vocationally and emotionally. Society puts such an emphasis on the results and almost completely ignores the social and emotional wellness of their employees.
This is one major realization from the pandemic, this major shift in power from employer to employee. Josh empowers employees to claim that power and helps organizations design practical and engaging experiences for organizations, from technology use, to the way they collect feedback. Josh has spent the last 12 years in the trenches working to design a better employee experience
Josh Drean is a startup advisor at Harvard Innovation Labs, Global Brand and Growth Strategist at Leapgen, and Co-founder of DreanMedia, a creative and consulting agency that designs media assets to drive a better employee experience.
Josh’s work has been featured in several publications, including Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Bostinno, and he has made appearances on The Today Show, NBC, and FOX Business. His YouTube channel has garnished millions of views with content specifically tailored to employee experience initiatives.
Josh speaks internationally on 50+ stages a year to help organizations better understand EXD and the future of work. His high-octane keynote and engaging workshops are in high demand and his virtual appearances are always well-attended
Josh earned an undergraduate degree in I/O psychology from BYU and a masters degree in Organizational Behavior at Harvard University. He incubated and sold a startup out of the Harvard Innovation Labs and worked on staff while attending school.
He recently moved to Minnesota with his wife and three children where he is active in the community as head coach for peewee hockey and enjoying the cold weather.
